Over a decade ago, we launched our first electric tenor guitar in collaboration with award-winning multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis. That four-string spark set a whole family of instruments in motion. Today, Eastwood brings together electric tenors, octave mandolins, cello guitars and more, opening up new tunings, deeper voices and fresh possibilities. Whether you’re a longtime tenor player or a guitarist looking for a new direction, your next musical adventure starts here.
Our Ezra collection brings the tenor family into the acoustic world, with tenor guitars, octave mandolins, cello guitars and more. From bright, ringing melodies to warm, resonant lows, there’s a voice here to spark your next idea. Whether you’re a longtime fifths player or exploring these instruments for the first time, Ezra invites you to pull up a chair and play.
We’re big advocates of traditional fifths tunings like GDAE and CGDA, but a Tenor Guitar offers endless possibilities. Explore our comprehensive tuning guide or browse our selection of pre-assembled string sets below.
Whether you're a six-string guitar player seeking new inspiration, or a musician looking for new avenues to explore, the Tenor Guitar is your gateway to creativity. We're here to equip, educate, and empower you as you discover one of the best kept secrets of the world of stringed instruments.
