From Our Hands
to Yours.
to Yours.
As the designers, manufacturers, and exclusive retailers of our guitars, we oversee every step of the journey: from initial concept and craftsmanship to final inspection and delivery. Combined with our rigorous inspection processes and hands-on preparation, this end-to-end control ensures every instrument arrives exactly as intended, ready to perform at its best the moment you pick it up.
Regardless of pricepoint, every instrument purchased from Eastwood Guitars receives a comprehensive inspection and set-up from one of our highly qualified technicians. When the inspection passes, and once set-up is complete, the instrument is thoroughly inspected and play-tested by a second quality control specialist prior to packaging. This two-stage process serves as a fail-safe, ensuring the highest standards of quality and playability.
As the proud owner of a new Eastwood instrument, getting started should be effortless: simply unbox it and play. If you notice any issues with the setup, let us know! We’ll cover the cost* of your first professional setup within 7 days of ownership, up to $70.

Every Eastwood instrument (regardless of price point) goes through a comprehensive, hands-on inspection and setup process before it ever leaves our facility. First, one of our highly qualified technicians performs a full setup and inspection, addressing playability, hardware, electronics, and overall condition. Once that work is complete, the instrument is passed to a second quality control specialist for a thorough play-test and final inspection.
This two-stage process acts as a built-in fail-safe, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks and that your instrument meets our standards for quality, consistency, and playability. In other words: when we ship a guitar, it’s because two different sets of experienced hands have already signed off on it.
Even with the most careful preparation, guitars are still wooden instruments traveling long distances through changing temperatures, humidity, and handling conditions. As the instrument settles into its new environment, minor adjustments are sometimes required: the kinds of tweaks many players can handle at home, such as small truss rod, action, or intonation adjustments.
In rarer cases, a professional setup may be the most effective way to dial everything in perfectly. When that’s the case, we believe the fastest, least frustrating solution is usually a local setup, rather than asking you to re-pack your guitar, ship it back, wait for repairs, and then receive it all over again. That’s why our Ready-to-Play Guarantee includes coverage for your first professional setup with a local tech or luthier of your choosing, up to $70.
This approach gets you back to playing sooner, keeps your instrument in your hands, and avoids unnecessary shipping risks.
We will reimburse approved setup work up to $70 USD. This coverage is intended solely to resolve playability-related concerns, and does not apply to modifications, upgrades, or changes beyond standard factory specifications.
The Ready-to-Play Guarantee cannot be used to alter the original factory setup of an instrument (for example, changing from standard tuning to Drop-C). If you’d like your guitar set up to specific preferences, we’re happy to help! Just reach out to us when placing your order. Custom setups are available by request for an additional charge.
Before having any work done, you must contact us within 7 days of having received your instrument to let us know what's going on. This allows us to:
Work performed without prior approval may not be eligible for reimbursement.
After we've approved your instrument for local work, we strongly recommend receiving an initial quote from your desired repair shop (many will offer this free of charge) prior to conducting any work, so that you know what to expect.
Our relationship is with you, not the repair shop. Once approved work is completed, send us an image of the invoice you've received from the repair shop. Reimbursement will be issued as a refund to your original order.
If you later decide to return the instrument for any reason, any setup funds that have already been refunded are considered forfeit and will not be reimbursed again.
The Ready-to-Play Guarantee is designed to make ownership easier, not to limit your options.
If a local setup isn’t the right solution, or if the issue points to something else, we’ll work with you to determine the best next step. That may include an exchange, a return to Eastwood for repair, or a full return under our 45-day return policy.
Our promise is simple: we’ll work with you to make it right. Because when you open up your new Eastwood guitar, the only thing you should be thinking about is what you’re going to play first!
Looking for something more specific? Custom setups such as alternate tunings, string gauges, or player-specific preferences are available by request prior to shipping. Just reach out to us before your order ships, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Please note that an additional charge and extra time may be required depending on what you're looking for.
