Story
So… what exactly is a Baritone Guitarlin? We wondered the same thing, until Michael Weber (The Michael Weber Show, MTV’s Amazingness) showed us.
Michael had dreamt up a one-of-a-kind instrument that fuses Danelectro’s rare 1950s Guitarlin with the deep, rich range of a Baritone Guitar. And after working with Ohio luthier JH Guitar Works, his concept idea turned into a reality through the modification of a Danelectro ’63 long scale bass.
The result is unlike anything else: all the low-end growl of a Baritone, plus an extended 35-fret range that lets you soar into screaming lead territory! So what did we say when Michael asked us to make a production one? Challenge accepted!
Aesthetically inspired by our best-selling TB64 6-String Bass, the BG64 Baritone Guitarlin is built from the ground-up as a 35-fret Baritone Guitar(lin). Featuring a 30" scale length, this instrument gets you everything you need out of a Baritone Guitar while also granting you access to the higher register of a regular 6-string. It comes dressed in a stunning vintage-style Copper finish: equal parts retro cool and modern versatility!

Michael Weber's Original Concept
@michaelweberjr_ 35 frets?!! My idea of the world’s first ever baritone guitarlin has come to life! Tuned B-to-B, it has all the notes of a baritone AND all the notes of the Danelectro Guitarlin on the same neck! It’s a total game changer!
