Where the BB-04 COPI DELAY is our 60’s inspired Echo pedal, the MAG DELAY takes us into the 70’s, with an altered frequency bandwidth for the delay signal and the introduction of modulation.
The Modulation section (DEPTH and SPEED) is a vari-pitch modulation effect that is applied only to the Delay signal. This simulates tape ‘wow and flutter’ at higher settings and can be used as a subtle chorus/vibe effect at more moderate settings. DELAY time rises to 600ms max from 35ms at its lowest. The MAG DELAY will also oscillate it’s delay signal when the REGEN (regeneration/feedback) is set high and it allows you to ‘play’ the TIME control.

Power: The BB-05 can be powered by a standard 9V center‐negative AC adapter.

This pedal is the cat's pajamas!!1 I have delays... probably more than I need. Each one suits its own purpose, but this Delay blows my mind!! The control and versatility is amazing. I can emulate just about any delay type I want simply by dialing in the sound. Keep in mind, when I say this, it isn't the Blackhole I have, but below that, this is the jam! Also want to send out a well done and thankyou to the staff at Eastwood. They helped me with all my orders and all my bellyaching...

This is my second black box pedal, the first being a Dusty Spring. The series uses weighty metal enclosures and both pedals display build quality and fit and finish more than commensurate with their price points. After using the Mag Delay regularly the past couple of weeks I can report this pedal more than holds it's own in a crowded field. In fact, I've replaced the T.C. Flashback Mini on my PT Nano with this pedal. The only criticism I have is location of the power jack. Maybe it's...
