This year, Liverpool's most important music festival, Sound City, will take place at the Baltic Triangle for the first time - the creative quarter of Liverpool, and where Eastwood Guitars EU headquarter resides.

Besides opening our first ever popup shop to coincide with the festival, we'll also be helping out some of the bands who are travelling to Liverpool, by letting their use our instruments during their sets.

Here's a list of all the bands who'll be playing our guitars - including the bands who are already Eastwood artists.

    Saturday 5th May:

    13.45pm-14.15: M.O.R.T (ON AIR stage)
    M.O.R.T.
M.O.R.T. is an uncompromisingpunk -blues band from Sinj, (Croatia) with intense sound and unrestrained live performances. Watch them play: Airline 59 2PT, Airline 59 3P RipleyAirline Mercury and Airline MAP bass 34

    4pm-4.30pm: Generation (CONSTELLATIONS)
    generation
“Sleeveless denim, glam-rock drainpipes and huge 80s-esque slicked back hair, Generation look like missing cast members from The Lost Boys or The Warriors. They look amazing. And the good news is they sound even better than they look; style AND substance, the best of combinations” - gigslutz. Watch them play: Airline 59 3P Ripley, Eastwood Sidejack Bass 32

    5pm-5:30pm: Calva Louise (DISTRICT STAGE)
    Calva Louise
Calva Louise are an up-and-coming band from London, who already use one of our guitars. They are totally killer live and will be one of the highlights of the festival - don't miss out!
Watch them play: singer/guitarist Jess rocks an Airline 3p in sunburst. For Sound City you'll be able to see bassist Alizon also playing an Eastwood Sidejack Bass 32

    6pm-6:30pm: TRUPA TRUPA (BLADE FACTORY)
Trupa Trupa are Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, Tomek Pawluczuk, Wojtek Juchniewicz and Rafał Wojczal. In 2015 the Band released „Headache" – a critically acclaimed album released on CD and cassette by the British label Blue Tapes and X-Ray Records (Jute Gyte, Tashi Dorji, Mats Gustafsson, Katie Gately). Watch them play:  DEVO Whip It,1975 Morris the Cosey, Classic 4

    Sunday 6th May:

    3.15pm-3.45pm: HOLY BOUNCER (Blade Factory)
    Holy Bouncer
Their diet has been based on the big influence of bands like Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Velvet Underground, MGMT... and as it could not be otherwise their Ying & Yang are The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Mixing 70’s sounds with more current stuff, they’ve achieved a mix of psychedelic rock in pure state. Without too many concessions to easy palates and full of surprises with unpredictable twists and rhythms. Watch them play: Airline 59 3P DLX, Airline H78 and Surfcaster Bass.

6pm-6.30pm: Hey Charlie (BALTIC MARKET STAGE)
    Hey Charlie
Hey Charlie are another band who already play Eastwood and who've been rocking the London scene recently. Pure British grunge pop fun - and without a doubt another highlight not to be missed!
Watch them play: Eastwood Univox Bass.
    7pm-7.30pm: HAIKU GARDEN (Birdies bar)
Haiku Garden is a band of four young dudes from Ljubljana, Slovenia. They play noisy, guitar-driven music, interlaced with poppy vocal harmonies. Shoegaze, dreampop, neo-psych and noise rock are all thrown into the equation. During performances, the band is draped in visuals (courtesy of 5th member Kristina), which makes the experience even more mind altering. Watch them play:

9.30pm-10pm: Queen Zee & The Sasstones (BALTIC MARKET STAGE)
    Queen Zee
Queen Zee & The Sasstones are one of the hottest bands in Liverpool right now and theirs should be one best and most eagerly awaited sets at the festival. Trashy, glam, punk rock - and Zee herself is another guitarist who already uses an Airline 59 1P.
