Eastwood Artists at Robert Smith's Meltdown
Eastwood artists have been added to Robert Smith's Meltdown at the Southbank Centre, this Summer.
A staple in London's cultural agenda for the past 25 years, this year's Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre will be curated by The Cure's Robert Smith.
To celebrate 25 years of this artist-curated festival (previous curators include Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Nick Cave and David Bowie) Robert Smith put together a killer lineup which includes top names such as Manic Street Preachers, The Libertines and My Bloody Valentine.
The event takes place between 15-24 June and will include some Eastwood artists.
Besides including some names who've used Eastwood in the past, such as Mogwai, it'll include some more current names as well: The KVB, whose guitarist Nicholas Wood uses an Airline H78, and Moon Duo.
Moon Duo, of course, need no introduction if you follow us. After all, guitarist Ripley Johnson (who's also in the Wooden Shjips) plays his trademark Airline 59 3P Ripley Custom.
If you're planning to attend Robert Smith's Meltdown this year, make sure not to miss those Eastwood artists!
