Jeff Wootton
Jeff Wootton is the lead guitarist in one of the biggest selling bands in the world right now - Damon Albarn's Gorillaz. Jeff uses three different Airline guitars - the 59 3P DLX, the G. Love Signature 3P and the Town & Country DLX.
Jeff Wootton, born in Manchester, England in 1987, has already done plenty in his career, before joining Gorillaz. Jeff was one of the original members of Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis project, Beady Eye, and performed at the London Olympics closing ceremony, in 2012.
He joined Damon Albarn, Brian Eno and Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) to record an Africa Express album in Mali.
Besides collaborating with other artists (including Massive Attack and Noel Gallagher) Jeff also found time to release a well-received solo album, 'The Way The Light' in 2016, and has also formed a new band with his Gorillaz bandmate Seye Adelekan, Youth Of The Apocalypse (also known as YOTA).
There's no doubt you'll hear and see much more of Jeff Wootton in the months and years to come - and we hope, always with a trusty Airline!
