If you're after a perfect electric mandolin tone, our collection of fifths-tuned instruments has got you covered. However, we recognize that some of you might prefer to emulate that sound, while maintaining the familiarity of a 6-string guitar.

Sure, you could just slap a capo onto the twelfth fret... but it doesn't come anywhere close to having a 6-string built from the ground-up specifically for this purpose. Enter the EW Octave Guitar.

The original versions of this guitar are fantastic, chiming little beasts, but they're next to impossible to find. So we've decided to eliminate that problem, and recreate the instrument with modern components, while staying true to its original size and aesthetic.
