Meet the Eastwood Team - Chris Markferding
Name :
Chris Markferding
Job Title :
Marketing & Content Manager
Where are you based :
Nashville, Tennessee, United States
How long have you worked for Eastwood :
Just over 3 years now
What’s the first guitar you ever bought (and, do you still have it) :
This isn't one I bought, but let's go back a ways for fun...my first guitar was a no name, student sized, acoustic guitar that my Dad found, refinished, and fixed up for me to plunk around on. I gave it to my eldest nephew years ago, when he expressed an interest in learning to play guitar.
What’s your favorite gear now :
Valco FX KGB Dist Jr. and Sidejack Pro DLX
What are your favorite bands :
The Clash, Neil Finn, Johnny Marr (post Smiths - sorry Smiths fans, ha!), The Rolling Stones, The Cult, The Jayhawks, BORNS
Share a fun fact about yourself :
I have a bit of a chocolate obsession/hobby that has resulted in me judging chocolate competitions, reviewing chocolate for makers and shops, and doing media coverage of chocolate events.
Describe, in detail, your ideal morning beverage :
Dark hot chocolate made with almond milk (not hot cocoa, that’s a totally different thing). After reading that "fun fact" you really didn't think I was going to put coffee, did you?
