DEVO
DEVO need no introduction - the punk/new wave legends have had several hits and became iconic thanks to their unique visual and sound. Their customised guitars perfectly summed up the anarchic spirit of the band - and have now been re-created by the Eastwood Custom Shop.
The band's debut album, Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! was one of the most influential debuts in the Seventies, produced by Brian Eno and spawning hits such as their cover of The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction".
Just as their music de-constructed rock, so their instruments also provided an amusing critique on rock'n'roll.
Eastwood collaborated with the band in re-creating some of those designs, which they also use live, and these instruments are still very popular amongst our customers - and not just DEVO fans.
