Cole Alexander
Cole Alexander is a founding member of the Black Lips, a rock band based in Atlanta, Georgia which's been active since 1999, achieving cult following and critical acclaim. Cole plays an Airline Twin Tone.
Though Cole has played several different guitars over the years, as of lately he's been opting for the Airline Twin Tone as his main choice - which is the perfect option since his band The Black Lips have often cited Link Wray as one of their main influences (Wray was famously pictured with his Supro Dual Tone, the inspiration for the current Twin Tone).
The Black Lips career really started to kick off big time after they signed to Vice records, and their 2009 album 200 Million Thousand brought them to a wider audience and TV and major festivals appearances.
Since then, they've been one of the most successful purveyors of dirty garage rock, and now his fellow guitarist Jeff Clarke (who joined the band in 2018) also plays an Airline 59 2PT.
