Adrian Belew

Adrian Belew is without any doubt one of the most talented and inventive guitarists to have emerged in the 70's, and we're pleased to say he's also played Eastwood guitars, more recently.

Few guitarists can claim to have had the privilege of working on classic David Bowie albums. Adrian Belew is one of them. His guitar work on tracks such as "Boys Keep Swinging" is truly phenomenal, and was certainly enough to establish his name as one of the most creative and original new names to come out from the 70's.

But Belew did much more than "just" working with Bowie, of course. As frontman and guitarist in King Crimson as well as collaborating with other artists (such as Talking Heads, Nine Inch Nails and Laurie Anderson), Belew was responsible for many other hits.

Adrian Belew is well-known for playing Parker Fly guitars, but that has not stopped him from using other instruments off-stage... including some Eastwoods!

Besides playing our earlier version of the current Airline 59 Coronado, Belew also acquired our Spectrum 5 Pro, of which he wrote: "I must say the workmanship is stunning… beautiful metallic blue sparkle finish, a springy trem which holds tune well, and an array of plastic buttons allowing for all types of twang."
